So far from the early reports, I am really really excited and thankful for all of my fans great support as it means a lot to me that so many people want to listen and hear my music. I thoroughly enjoyed producing, mixing and mastering this album, and can only hope that the next one will be even more exciting and awesome. In fact I love that I was finally able to get A Problem Like Maria to sing on one of my tracks, you can check out below:
With current university work, and simply the search for internships and job opportunities the amount of releases along my old lines of once a week or once a month might slow down for a bit as I am in the middle of a transition with some other work, but do not be alarmed as I fully intend to keep on making music, and possibly have something in the works for later this year for 2 different single releases. In the meantime, I do have a mix that will release later this week off all of the music I’ve currently been hooked on, but you could probably equally find that information through my Last.FM profile.
As a side note I have plans on creating an album and audio gear review oriented site so if you have requests be sure to send them to parkvogt@hotmail.com Expect the site to be up and running within a month or so as soon as I am on break between the Winter and the Spring Quarter in this ITAM program.
Equally interesting I am also working on building a storefront/e-commerce site running on Magento for Rekapper CDs and possible future #swag. That goes without saying that eventually down the line there might be one for The Hai, but we’ll have to see how the artists think of that idea.
And on an extreme side note, there are plans in the works from myself of starting up a jazz/electronic weblabel similar to The Hai with it’s open community, but a lot more similar of a focus so that the audience group would be quite well attached to all of the artists, if you are interesting in joining that, feel free to shoot me an email with your bands demo to parkvogt@hotmail.com
